- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sage
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce optional for garnish
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, parsley, egg, garlic powder, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
Roll the mixture into small meatballs (about 1-2 inches in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer the meatballs to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with cranberry sauce if desired.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
